Frank Accurso
Professor Frank Accurso

Professor Accurso, MD is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado Denver and Head of Pulmonary Medicine at Children’s Hospital Colorado and was the director of the Cystic Fibrosis Care Center there for 24 years. Dr Accurso is internationally known for his work with newborn screening and the description of early lung disease in infants with cystic fibrosis.

Buckey, Michael
Dr Michael Buckley

Dr Buckley is the clinical director of the Genetics Laboratory at Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney.  His research interests include mendelian disease gene identification; and has played a major role in the identification of 6 disease genes.

Louanne Hudgins
Dr Louanne Hudgins
MD, FACMG

Louanne Hudgins, MD, FACMG, is Professor and Chief of the Division of Medical Genetics in the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University.  She is also Director of Perinatal Genetics and Medical Director for the MS program in Human Genetics and Genetic Counseling. She has been very involved in the American College of Medical Genetics, previously serving on the Board of Directors, as Vice President for Clinical Genetics, and as co-chair for the ACMG Professional Practice and Guidelines Committee. 

Massimo Zeviani
Professor Massimo Zeviani

Professor Zeviani graduated in Medicine at the University of Padua. He specialized in Endocrinology and Neurology, and obtained a PhD in Genetics at the University René Descartes in Paris.In 1984, he moved to Columbia University, New York, where he worked as a post-doc for five years with Billi Di Mauro on the biochemical and molecular definition of respiratory chain disorders.
